How it works
From your website to an approved email in three steps
Most tools stop at a list of emails. FoxKnock runs the whole loop, and you decide what goes out.
- 1
Paste your website
FoxKnock learns what you sell, who buys it and what it must never claim, then proposes your best-fit segments.
- 2
Review a short list each morning
Accounts ranked by fit and fresh signals, each with a cited research report and verified contacts.
- 3
Approve, and it sends
Every draft cites its facts. Approved emails go out from your own mailbox, within daily caps and working hours.
Product
AI prospecting, from a website to a booked meeting
The whole outbound loop, with its work shown at every step. Use all of it or only the parts you need.
Discover
Lookalike companies of the customers you already love
Give FoxKnock your best customers and it finds B2B companies that resemble them, with the reason for every match.
- Every match explained criterion by criterion, not a black-box score
- Or search in plain English: "Series A fintechs in DACH hiring a first SDR"
- Lost customers work as negative seeds and push similar accounts down
Research
Prospect research that shows its sources
A research agent reads each company's site, news and job posts. Every fact it keeps links to its source and the date it was read.
- Quick, standard or deep, priced before you click
- Facts expire, so stale news is never quoted back to a prospect
- Key people found, with verified emails and the source of every field
Approve
Cited cold emails you approve before they send
Every claim in a draft points to a fact, and a quality gate blocks the ones that do not. Nothing is ever approved by a timer.
- Four approval levels per sequence, from draft only to auto within limits
- Auto unlocks only after 50 approvals with under 10% edited and 5% rejected
- Fake compliments, spam words and leftover placeholders flagged first
Send
Cold email from your own mailboxes, with guardrails
FoxKnock sends from your domain, not a shared pool, with daily caps, a ramp-up and auto-pause to protect it.
- Google Workspace, Microsoft 365, or any SMTP and IMAP server
- Sends in the recipient's working hours, with one-click unsubscribe
- SPF, DKIM, DMARC and MX checks with plain-English fixes
And the rest of the loop
- Email finder and verificationA waterfall of finders and verifiers. You pay only when an email is found, and hard bounces are refunded.
- Buyer intent signalsHiring, funding, news and tech changes in one ranked Today queue, instead of an endless feed.
- Community radarPeople asking for what you sell in public threads, with a drafted reply that you post yourself.
- Website visitor identificationSee which companies visit your site. Company level only, no cookies, and raw IP addresses are never stored.
- AI inboxReplies sorted into 13 classes with a confidence score, and answers drafted from your own knowledge base.
- GDPR tools, EU firstCountry rule packs, an Article 14 notice, field-level provenance, suppression and a retention window.
- API and integrationsREST API, signed webhooks, HubSpot sync and Slack alerts, with read-only keys for AI assistants.

FAQ
Questions people ask before they sign up
What is FoxKnock?
FoxKnock is an AI lead generation tool for small B2B teams and agencies. It finds companies that look like your best customers, researches each one with cited sources, finds and verifies the right contacts, and drafts outreach you approve before it sends from your own mailboxes. See how it works or what it costs.
Is FoxKnock an AI SDR?
Not in the usual sense. An autonomous AI SDR sends on its own; FoxKnock drafts, you approve, and your mailbox sends. Automatic sending is something a sequence has to earn, and you switch it on. If you want a tool that runs outbound without you, an AI SDR may suit you better: see our AI SDR alternatives for a fair comparison.
Does FoxKnock send emails without asking me?
Not unless you let it. Every sequence has an approval level, and the default is review each: a draft waits in your queue until you approve it. Auto-send only unlocks after a track record (50 approved emails with under 10% edited and under 5% rejected), and nothing is ever approved by a timer. The one other automatic message is optional: a reply with your booking link when someone asks for a meeting. A global switch pauses all sending. More about approvals.
How is FoxKnock different from Clay, Apollo or Instantly?
Clay is a data workbench you build workflows in, Apollo is a large contact database with sequences, and Instantly is built for sending at volume. FoxKnock is a finished loop for small teams: lookalike accounts, cited research, verified contacts and drafts you approve, on one credit meter with seats included in the plan price. Each comparison says where the other tool is stronger: Clay, Apollo, Instantly.
Where does the data come from?
From a waterfall of providers (search and web data, company data, email finders, verifiers), plus built-in web search and page fetching for research. Every enriched field records where it came from. You can also add your own provider keys and pay those vendors directly. FoxKnock does not scrape LinkedIn and does not use Apollo's API, because its terms forbid competing products.
How do I know a claim in an email is true?
Each specific claim in a draft points to a fact, and each fact carries the source URL, the quote and the time it was read. If a claim has no source, the quality gate blocks the email until you edit or remove it. You can still be wrong about your own offer, so the knowledge base and policies you write are what the AI is allowed to restate.
Which mailboxes can I send from?
Your own. Google Workspace and Microsoft 365 connect with Sign in with Google or Sign in with Microsoft, so FoxKnock stores a revocable token instead of your password; any other SMTP and IMAP mail server connects with its password. FoxKnock enforces daily caps, a 21-day ramp, spacing between sends and recipient-time windows, and pauses a mailbox that crosses 2% bounces or 0.1% complaints. More about sending.
Can agencies use FoxKnock for clients?
Yes. The Agency plan lets you run up to 25 separate client workspaces, each with its own data, mailboxes, suppression list and approvals, with unlimited seats. Today each client workspace also has its own credits and billing. See FoxKnock for agencies.
Does it work with my CRM?
FoxKnock syncs companies, contacts, reply notes and deals for interested leads to HubSpot (one way, from FoxKnock to HubSpot). For anything else there is a REST API, signed webhooks and Slack alerts. API and integrations.
What does a credit buy?
One credit is $0.01. A verified email costs 11 credits (10 to find it, 1 to verify it), a standard research report 225. Credits a monthly plan grants expire at the end of the billing cycle, while top-up packs and the free plan's credits never expire. Failed lookups are free, and a verified email that hard-bounces is refunded. You set a monthly cap, and every action shows its cost before you click.
Can I use it for GDPR-compliant outreach?
FoxKnock gives you the tools: country rule packs, lawful-basis confirmation where consent is expected, an Article 14 notice in first emails, field-level provenance for access requests, suppression lists and a retention window. Compliance is still your responsibility as the sender, and the rule packs are a starting point, not legal advice.
Which AI does it use?
A leading AI model, used for research, scoring, writing and reply handling, with the effort tuned per task. Your content is sent to our AI provider to produce those results, and that provider is listed on our security page with the other sub-processors.
Can I cancel any time?
Yes, any time from Billing, with no call and no retention flow. Your plan runs to the end of the period you paid for, and your credits stay on the account.
